This was made for my Niece’s first Christmas to help brighten her room a bit. The A and the flowers were hand carved, dyed, and painted by me, using bolts with acorn nuts to hold the flowers down. The background was formed and painted by my Wife, making for a fantastic bark scene adding to a dark natural look that makes the pink of the flowers pop out. The leaves are green soft leather with a layer of paint, and some gold detail work to tie them in with the rest of the piece. May not be entirely realistic.. but I dig the composition of this piece.
