I love making leather flowers. This is a hair clip I made, working to mimic the basic look of a Hibiscus flower. The flower is all hand made, using a purple dye as the base coat, and a few shades of purple pain on top of it, feathering out my brushstrokes to try for a more natural look. The rivet that holds the whole thing together, also attaches the basic hair clip on the backside of the piece.
