This is a half-plate chest piece, made out of leather and entirely designed, formed, dyed, and painted by me. It was designed to be spearing specific armor, made to give me as much flexibility as possible on the field, without costing me much in the was of mobility. The armor consists of a thick plate of leather riveted and then sewn only a piece of soft leather underneath, and the ribs on the front consist of soft leather embossed to look similar to lizard skin. The chest piece came out great, and I’m hoping to go back and add more plates later on to give it a more completed look.
