I got it into my head to make a friend kind of an art piece for his desk or wall. This piece is designed off of a cartoon that the friend did. The figure is carved and painted leather raised out of the piece via small painted dowel rods, that also keep the plexiglass cityscape in place. From there I put in an LED votive.. because hey.. everything looks nicer when lit up. And finally to keep everything safe and together, the bolts on the front are old holding a piece of plexiglass that protects the figure and city from being broken or damaged.
