One of my Nieces was really into Frozen (because who wasn’t?).. So I took a crack at making her a Christmas gift. The Elsa’ish figure was hand craved and painted by me out of leather, then raised up and out of the frame via two painted dowel rods, and I tried to carve some plexiglass to go behind her as a cape. My Wife was kind enough to paint the background scene (She’s waaayyy better at painting than I am). And to kind of make the piece stand out, I drilled a few holes in the canvas, and have a short string of blue fairy lights installed in the back.. because yes.
